We moved!
Check out our NEW website with a NEW name at Painted Twig
Ottawa House Art Camp has been offering arts enrichment opportunities for all ages for more than 10 years. We're delighted to be welcoming new and returning art campers this summer after a year with closed doors.
We focus on small-group instruction in a day-camp format with an emphasis on integrating art + play to help young people stretch their imagination, develop confidence in their own ideas, spark curiosity and promote joy through exploration of materials and media.
Campers gain exposure to a wide variety of materials, tools, techniques, and processes. They find opportunities to develop skills in drawing, painting, clay, textiles, sculpture, mixed media, papermaking and printmaking using both traditional and recycled/repurposed materials.
Camps are led by Hadley O'Brien -- an arts educator with a heart for children and a mind for effective arts instruction. Hadley has served as arts educator for Kenowa Hills Public Schools, Rochester Hills Public Schools, the Holland Arts Council, Ottawa County Parks, the Springfield Art Museum, the Springfield Regional Arts Council, and Placeworks Arts Outreach.
Curriculum is fresh for returning and new campers alike; sign up for one camp or many!
We can't wait to see you soon!
With gratitude,
Hadley
